Heroes of the Valley by Jonathan Stroud

This is not as good as Stroud's other books, but I was still riveted and had a hard time putting it down.

There were a few parts that were very scray for me. I was home alone at night and was afraid to turn off the light, huddled up in bed with my dog unable to put the book down. But in the end I liked the book.
