Applesauce and other fall fun

Wenatchee is well known for it's great apples and produce. I canned cherries earlier in this summer so this fall I had a goal to make applesauce. My Grammy gave me her chinois set (metal colander with a pestal to use for grinding).

So I embarked on my second canning experiment. I cataloged the experience in the below pictures.

It's too cold to take McKay on walks but this was one of our last ones through the park.
