It's way past due that I should post about this on my blog. My post earlier today was about bugs and that really shouldn't have been the first thing I've posted in a while. When I posted about the bugs I was stressed and not thinking clearly. I should have posted about this first.

Barlow and I are expecting the arrival of a baby around November 29th. This is way more important than bugs.

We found out in late March after we got home from Utah to help my mom around the house. We were so excited but tried to keep it secret until I was at 12 weeks. We did tell both of our parents and both sides are excited.

We've had 2 Dr. visits and so far things are going well.

I'm going to try and post once a week.

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 17 weeks

Size of Baby : About the size a turnip. 

Gender: To be determined hopefully we will know in ~ 3 weeks. 

Sleep: I've had a cold this week, so the congestion as been a challenge but otherwise not bad.

Miss Anything? Eating real Sushi. We went to a sushi place I still enjoyed the cooked food but envied Barlow who got to eat the real thing.

Movement: There was movement on the 10 week ultrasound, but I can't feel it yet. I think that's a while off.

Food cravings: Sushi, and raspberries but not together.


Symptoms: Heart burn, and some nausea. I haven't vomited in 2 weeks (knock on wood). Sciatic pain on the right side, but I don't know if it's from pregnancy, our new bed, or moving, who knows. 

Due Date: November 29th 2012

Next Dr. Appointment:  ultrasound on July 9th and appointment on July 11th.

Getting Ready: Cleaning house getting things put away from our recent move (I'll post about that later)


Happy or Moody most of the time: I don't know how Barlow puts up with me. I cry over the littlest set back this week.

Maternity clothes? Not yet but my clothes are not as loose as they used to be.
