The Locks in Seattle.

A few weekends ago we went to visit Barlow's family in Seattle. They took us to the " Ballard Locks".

They are a waterway between the saltwater of the Puget Sound and the fresh water of Lake Union and Lake Washington.

There were some very big and beautiful boats working through the channel.
There were also some really dumb people. The army corp of engineers manage it for the most part. And one serviceman had to keep telling one skipper "listen to me not the other guys " meaning the skippers of the other boats.
The Hardy's observing the craziness of all the boats trying to fit through the locks.

It is a pretty amazing feat of human engineering.

That would have been a fun thing to view. People do do crazy things in a panic huh.
BTW, I'm pretty sure you could find someplace that would dye your dogs hair....I bet it would be pricey though....LOL
Enjoy
