I'm very behind in my blogging updates. I keep telling myself that I will write a post tomorrow.
My mom came to visit for a week and it was wonderful she did a lot of stuff around the house. She helped me so much with things I was really too sick to do. I missed her so much when she flew back to Utah, but at least she's only a phone call away.
Size of Baby : About the size of an eggplant.

Gender: We're still going on the assumption that it's a girl, but trying to keep things neutral since I hate pink and we aren't 100 % sure.
Sleep:This has been hard lately I wake up at ~ 4am to go to the bathroom, and I can't get back to sleep until ~ 6am then I get up at 6:30-6:45. Sometimes I can't get to sleep well because the baby is moving.
Miss Anything? I miss soda sometimes. Early on it made me sick so I didn't mind not drinking it as much. I need to limit my caffeine now and I miss it. Movement: Yes, it took me a long time to recognize it. It's kind of fun to feel the movement, but it's distracting when it happens during a patient's appointment.
Food cravings: Nutella, I think about it a lot.
Symptoms: I haven't thrown up in over one month, knock on wood. The skin on my belly feels itchy sometimes, my sister-in-law gave me some lotion that seems to help. I still get heart burn and the sciatic pain flares when I am doing something active. I should have exercised more early on, I get short of breath a lot faster than I used to.
Due Date: November 29th 2012
Next Dr. Appointment: Sept 12th
Getting Ready: My mom helped me put up new wallpaper. I need to clean up the baby's room it is full of moving boxes still. I've started daydreaming and picking things out on amazon and target for my wishlist and baby registry.
One of the Dr.'s that I work with has a super nice wife who is planning a baby shower for OCT 13.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I think I'm quick to jump to the negative conclusions lately, and I'm still really sensitive. It's a lot better than it used to be.
Maternity clothes? My dear sweet mom came out and took me shopping we bought me some cute maternity clothes, and I'm starting to wear them. My regular pants (even the normally large ones) are getting really tight. I feel a lot better when I wear the maternity clothes because I feel it's okay that I'm big when I wear them... strange how it is.

you are six weeks ahead of me & it sounds like you are so much more prepared! I can't wait to see pics of your little princess!
So so excited for you guys! I love the updates - even if they are few and far between. I understand how it goes when you get busy, so I don't mind too much. Glad to see you are getting all ready. :D Love you guys!
Lex! I'm so excited for you!! It's so fun to read how you are doing. I love the "size of the baby" and all the extra info you add! ;) It's OK to be sensitive, you kind of have a good reason! ;) Looking forward to your next update! How nice of them to throw a shower for you! So fun!
HOW EXCITING!!!! This is so exciting! I relate to all of the maternity symptoms. Getting these little guys here is such a sacrifice, but every time they smile it makes it all worth it. Best of Luck with the last little bit! You are closer than you have ever been, so hang in there. :)
